Zoige Wetland Park
1. General Information
Zoige Wetlands National Nature Reserve is located within Zoige County of Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province and sits on the northeast edge of Qinghai Tibetan Plateau. It is the biggest plateau wetlands, and also is the largest, best-preserved plateau peat mire. Being famed as the most beautiful alpine wetlands grassland and hometown of Black-necked Cranes in China, Zoige Wetlands Nature Reserve mainly protects Black-necked Crane, and plateau wetlands ecological system.

2. Natural Resources of the Reserve
Zoige Wetlands National Nature Reserve is an important breeding ground for Black-necked Crane, which is the only crane living on a high elevation plateau among the 15 cranes in the world. Because of its important role in protecting the local biodiversity, it was listed as international key wetlands in 2008. Besides being an ideal habitat for Black-necked Crane, it is also home to some other plateau birds, and mammals such as Tufted Duck, Common Pochard, Horned Grebe, Wolf, Tibetan Fox, Red Fox, Saker Falcon, Upland Buzzard, and Himalayan Vulture.
