Get Camera Ready and Shoot as You See Them on Plateau

Time: 2021-03-26 Author: Bella

March 17th in 2021 Qinghai

On our first day, we entered no-man land on Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, we were welcomed by numerous herds of Tibetan Gazelle and flocks of Rusty-necklaced Partridge.

The plump Rusty-necklaced Partridge walked steadily on the road

After long riding and searching, everyone showed a sign of fatigue. It was already the middle of the day and hot. Animals were hiding in the shade. Now it was time for lunch. We took out the packed egg-fried rice, spicy chicken, and roasted lamp that had been cooked by a Muslim restaurant. We took out our two outdoor stoves that made it possible to eat something warm.

Over the mountain ridge to our right, we saw several soaring Himalayan vultures and suddenly one dropped to the ridge.

"I aimed my camera and shot".

Just got two photos then the vulture flew away.

Dropping my camera, I saw a hairy tail emerged on the ridge.

"Cat!!!"

Looking closely, I saw it was a Palla's Cat, strolling along the mountain ridge to the other side of the mountain, and leaving us a beautiful receding figure.

When I checked my photos, I found the cat was in my photo when I shot the Himalayan Vulture, he was already there. That explained why the vulture flew away in a hurry.

In the following days, I experienced the freedom of Palla's Cat.

We saw Palla's cat four times in our four consecutive days.

Without sitting and waiting, we photographed some recording photos of Palla's cat. Let's play the game of searching a Palla's Cat. (There might be a Palla's cat in your photo, it is possible).

Being fond of fighting, White-rumped Snowfinch is commonly seen in the yak-shit-drying ground. Most of their fighting is just like the exchange of Gongfu skills between two gentlemen, stop very soon. It is rare for White-rumped Snowfinch to press the counterpart on the ground and beat for over ten minutes.
