Tibetan Gazelle is a unique species under the national class two protection on Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The males have a pair of thin horns curving backward, shaping like a sickle. When a Tibetan Gazelle is running, its heart-shaped patch on the hip looks like a mirror, thus being nicknamed by local people as "Mirror Gazelle".
